How To Program Dish Remote To LG TV (20.0, 20.1, 21.0, 21.1 Models)
These are the old Dish remote models. Below is the guide on how to program any of the remotes under these models to your LG TV.
Step 1. Turn on the TV you want to sync using your remote control.
Step 2. Make sure you hold your Dish Remote to your TV. Also, remove any item obstructing the TV. This is to ensure your remote works without issues.
Step 3. Press and hold the ‘TV’ button on your remote for a couple of seconds. Release the button after the tiny LED light on the ‘Mode’ button goes off.
Step 4. Key in any of the remote codes listed above using the number buttons on your number. Press the # button after you enter the codes.
Step 5. The ‘TV’ button will blink a couple of times, then you will get an indication if the code was accepted or not. If the code is not accepted, key in the next code after that. Note that, you may have to try several codes before you get the correct one. Don’t worry because you only need to complete this process once.
Step 6. After you enter the correct code, press the ‘Power’ button. If your TV turns off, it means you’ve completed the syncing process. If not, repeat the process, starting from Step 3.

These are the new models of the Dish Remote Control. Below is the guide on how to program any of the remotes under these models to your LG TV.
Step 1. Press the ‘MENU’ button on your remote. Find the ‘Receiver’ option and press ‘UP. If you are using the 40.0 remote model, press the ‘MENU’ button a couple of times. For the 50.0 remote model, press the ‘HOME’ button a couple of times to bring up the menu.
Step 2. Press the ‘Settings’ button and choose ‘Remote Control’ from the menu.
Step 3. Scroll down to ‘Device List’ and click on the ‘TV’ option.
Step 4. Click on ‘TV Pairing Wizard’ and further click on ‘Device Brand’ to find your TV brand.
