Steps to Activate MI remote
- Download the Mi Remote Control App from below:

- After installing the app, you will have to open the MI remote control app and pair your existing remotes of the TV and set-top box in it.

- To pair the set-top box remote and the TV remote to your app, follow the steps below
- Click on the TV power button on your set-top box remote. It can be found adjacent to the set-top box power button. Then you will have to select the TV from the list that appears.
- You will be able to add more than one TV and set-top box on your app. In case you added more than one TV, the TV that you select will be assigned to the set-top box. The same scenario applies to the case where you add more than one set-top boxes in the app. You will be able to activate the selected TV to the set-top box using the TV remote. To do this, click on the set-top box icon located at the top right corner and choose the desired set-top box that you want to pair with the TV.
- While selecting your TV from a list of brand names on your list, you will be able to speed up this process by using the search tab. After the process is complete, you will be able to test if the app works. After checking whether the buttons work, click on Yes. If it doesn’t work, then click the arrow provided to the side.
- You will also be able to give a name to the remote.
- Finally, click on ‘Paired’ at the bottom to complete the process.
